Lakhs of students across India aspire to conquer the Chartered Accountancy (CA) exam, known as one of the toughest in the nation. Yet, only a handful of individuals manage to succeed, driven by an unyielding passion and dedication. Among them is CA Nandini Agrawal, who not only passed but also secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 at just 19 years old. She has since been recognized as India’s youngest female Chartered Accountant and holds the prestigious Guinness World Record for this remarkable feat.
Nandini’s journey, hailing from Morena, Madhya Pradesh, is one of exceptional brilliance. Having skipped two classes, she was always ahead of her peers. At the age of 13, she sat for her class 10th board exams and completed her class 12th exams at 15. Her CA finals in 2021 were a triumph, as she scored 614 out of 800, clinching AIR 1. Her elder brother, Sachin, also shone that year, securing AIR 18 with a score of 568.
Her education began at Victor Convent Higher Secondary School, where she completed her 11th and 12th grades. After achieving her CA success at 19, Nandini pursued the dream of earning a Guinness World Record. In February 2023, after months of waiting, her perseverance was rewarded when she received the confirmation email from Guinness, making her a world record holder.
Nandini faced numerous challenges, including being rejected by companies for apprenticeship opportunities at the age of 16. However, her determination and hard work led her to break through these barriers.
Her inspiring story continues to motivate countless young Indians, showing that with relentless effort and passion, even the most daunting challenges can be overcome.
