Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has declared the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) December 2026 results on its official website.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download their scorecards from ktet.kerala.gov.in using their registration number, date of birth and selected category.
KTET conducted for four categories
The KTET examination was conducted for four different categories covering various teaching positions in schools across Kerala.
Category I is meant for Lower Primary teachers, Category II for Upper Primary teachers, Category III for High School teachers and Category IV for specialist teaching posts.
The examination is mandatory for candidates seeking teaching appointments in government and aided schools in the state.

Candidates can follow these steps to download their scorecards online:
- Visit the official website — Kerala KTET portal
- Click on the “K-TET Results” link available on the homepage
- Select the relevant examination category
- Enter registration number and date of birth
- Submit the details
- Download and save the scorecard for future use
Scorecard contains qualifying details
The KTET scorecard includes important details such as candidate name, examination category, marks obtained and qualifying status.
Candidates are advised to carefully verify all information mentioned in the scorecard and retain a printed copy for future recruitment and verification purposes.
Qualifying criteria for candidates
According to the prescribed eligibility criteria, general category candidates must secure at least 60 per cent marks to qualify the examination.
Reserved category candidates are provided relaxation in qualifying marks as per Kerala government norms.
The results were announced after the earlier release of the provisional answer key and completion of the objection review process.
Qualified candidates eligible for recruitment
Candidates who have cleared the KTET examination will now become eligible to apply for various teaching recruitment processes in Kerala schools, subject to fulfilment of additional eligibility conditions notified by recruiting authorities.
