PA First Grade College Celebrates Its Annual Day

Mangaluru: PA First Grade College celebrated its annual day under the patronage of Abdullah Ibrahim Managing Trustee on 16 May 2024 at PACE auditorium.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, faculty members, and enthusiastic students, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.

Prof. PL Dharma, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Mangalore University was the Chief Guest. Prof. PL Dharma in his address emphasized the importance of academic dedication and campus involvement for students’ holistic growth.

Ahammed Kutty, Director, Finance, PAET, and Sharafuddin P K (AGM, PAET) were the Guests of Honour.

Dr Sayyed Ameen (Dean-students affairs), Dr Rameez (Principal, PACE), Dr Saleeemulla Khan (Principal, PA College of Pharmacy), KP Soofie, Principal (PA Polytechnic), Dr Sajeesh Ragunathan, Principal (PA Institute of Physiotherapy), Haris TD, Purchase Manager, Shafinaz, Admission Officer and Mohammed Faizal N (Head-CPOD) were on the dais.

The program began by invoking the blessings of the almighty by Irfad from 2nd year of BCA.

The gathering was welcomed by Deepthi Udyavar, Head of the Dept. of Commerce and Management.

Dr Surfraz J Hasim, Principal, PAFGC presented the Annual Report for the year 2023-24.

The Guest of Honour Ahammed Kutty motivated students to set ambitious goals and work tirelessly towards achieving them.

Best outgoing student, Student of the Month, Students who had excelled in the University Examinations, cultural, sports and overall involvement in college activities were felicitated at the Award ceremony.

Mohammed Ashiq(3rd BBA), Fathima PB(3rd B.Com), Rashika(3rd FT), and Rouzana (3rd FND) were the Best outgoing students.

Individual Sports Championships bagged by Kruthik Roshan (3rd  BCA) and Fathima O H (Ist B.Com). Overall championship crowned to Blue House.

Faculty members were also acknowledged for exhibiting sportsmanship, with Abdul Sameer, Assistant Professor in Kannada and Krithika, Assistant Professor receiving the individual championship awards. 

The meticulous planning and coordination of the team made the entire program a grand success. 

The formal function concluded with the facilitation of the Chief Guest, and the vote of thanks delivered by Vanishree, IQAC Coordinator. The event was efficiently hosted by Laveena D’Souza, Asst. Professors in English and Afrath Aman, Asst. Professors, Dept. of Computer Applications ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for all attendees.
