Mangaluru, June 26, 2024: Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management’s 2022-24 MBA batch recently bid farewell with a unique program initiated by Sahyadri Junior MBA students. Under the motto ‘One Plant for Future’, senior and junior students together sowed various seeds, symbolizing their commitment to planting trees for future generations.
Mr. Devdas Hegade, Trustee of Sahyadri College, and Mrs. Kritin Amin, Director of Northernsky Properties Pvt Ltd, inaugurated the program. Dr. Vishal Samarth, Director of the MBA Department, Prof. Padmanabha, Coordinator of Student Organizations, Prof. Ramesh KG, Dean of Strategic Planning, and other faculty members also participated in the event.
This initiative not only marks a departure from traditional farewell activities but also sets a new trend where students take responsibility for nurturing plants that will be planted in various locations next year.
