St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), in association with EG India Private Limited, is hosting the much-anticipated third edition of HackToFuture, a 36-hour overnight hackathon that promises to gather some of India’s sharpest young minds. Scheduled from the evening of April 7 to the morning of April 9, 2025, the event will unfold at SJEC’s campus in Mangaluru.

Following the smashing success of HackToFuture 2.0—which drew over 1,600 students from 90+ colleges—the upcoming edition is set to raise the bar with the theme “Agentic AI”. This year’s participants will develop cutting-edge autonomous AI solutions with minimal human input, tackling challenges across key sectors: Healthcare & Citizen Welfare, Industry & Trade, and Construction & Workforce Management. Adding an exciting twist, a surprise Mystery Theme will be revealed during the event, pushing teams to innovate on the fly.

Prestigious institutions such as NITK Surathkal, MIT Manipal, IIITs, RVCE, Christ University, and others will be represented. Selected through a rigorous screening process, these student teams will collaborate, compete, and create across an intense 36-hour coding sprint.

HackToFuture 3.0 also opens doors for networking and mentorship, featuring talks and interactions with tech experts from EG India, EG A/S, and Sheffield Hallam University (UK). The grand finale will be a valedictory ceremony on April 9, recognizing standout solutions and visionary teams.

Together, SJEC and EG are shaping a generation of tech leaders—one hackathon at a time.
