Ycs Kundapur Deanery Hosts Successful Beginners Camp

The Young Catholic Students (YCS) Kundapur Deanery organized a successful beginners camp on Sunday, August 4, at St Mary’s College Hall, Kundapur. Master Rayan Lobo, YCS Kundapur Deanery president, warmly welcomed 90 enthusiastic first-year PUC students who attended the camp.

The program was inaugurated with the symbolic lighting of a lamp, representing the YCS movement’s mission to spread light and knowledge. Fr Paul Rego, dean of Kundapur Deanery, delivered an inspiring address, followed by a motivational message from Fr Roy Lobo, the Deanery YCS/ICYM director.

Ishney Fernandes, president of Kallianpur YCS Deanery, led an engaging ice-breaking session that energized the young participants. Fr Steevan Fernandes, diocesan chaplain of YCS YSM, provided valuable insights into the history and methodology of the YCS movement.
