Celebrations marked the 59th birthday of Aamir Khan today, as he was captured cutting his cake alongside his former wife and frequent professional collaborator, Kiran Rao. The actor, donning a casual attire, engaged in a brief interaction with the paparazzi in Mumbai on Thursday morning. Khan, who parted ways with filmmaker Kiran Rao in July 2021 after a 15-year marriage, continues to co-parent their son Azad, often appearing together publicly. He has two children with his ex-wife Reena Dutta, with Ira being the younger one. Furthermore, Khan’s son Junaid is gearing up for his acting debut in a project titled “Maharaj.”
Regarding his recent work, Khan was last seen in “Laal Singh Chaddha” and made a cameo appearance in Revathy’s “Salaam Venky,” starring Kajol. Additionally, he is producing a film titled “Champions.” Khan expressed his current focus on spending time with his family and mentioned his readiness to embark on a new acting project when emotionally prepared during an event in Mumbai last year.
Excitingly, Khan is set to collaborate with Sunny Deol in “Lahore 1947,” directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and backed by Khan himself.
