In a heartbreaking incident early Friday morning, Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko’s father, CP Chacko, lost his life in a fatal road accident near Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu. The mishap occurred around 6 a.m. as the family was travelling from Ernakulam to Bengaluru.
The family vehicle, which included Shine, his mother, his brother, and their driver, collided head-on with an oncoming lorry. The impact proved fatal for CP Chacko, who succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Emergency responders rushed the remaining family members to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
Reports indicate that Shine was resting in the back seat during the collision. He sustained a fracture in his right hand and is currently receiving treatment. Thankfully, his mother and brother are reported to have escaped with minor or no serious injuries.
The sudden and shocking nature of the accident has left the Malayalam film industry and Shine’s well-wishers in deep sorrow. Fans and fellow actors have taken to social media to express their condolences and wish the actor a speedy recovery.
