Much to the disappointment of fans, the release of the sequel of SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali will be postponed, according to reports.
The film which released this year was announced to be a two-part series. Even before the release of part one, it was mentioned by the makers that the part two would be releasing in 2016. However, latest buzz suggests that the fans would now have to wait a little longer.
As per news reports, the release of the movie will now be delayed by a year. It will only hit screens in 2017. On the same a source has been quoted by a publication saying, “Even though a few war scenes and some other key sequences have been filmed, 70 per cent of the movie is yet to be shot. The shooting will go on till July 2016, post which the VFX work will start.”
For the uninitiated, the Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Tamannah starrer became the first dubbed film in Hindi to make over Rs. 100 crore. Reportedly, it crossed the Rs. 600 crore mark overall.
