Mumbai: Yash Raj Films has unveiled the title and first poster of Beparwah, its upcoming romantic action-drama starring Ahaan Panday and Sharvari. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide on March 26, 2027.
The first-look poster hints at a blend of romance, action and music, with Ahaan holding a gun and Sharvari carrying a guitar against a rugged backdrop. The actors’ faces are deliberately kept out of view, leaving their looks and character details under wraps while introducing the film’s central pairing.
The title reveal comes as the film prepares for its theatrical release next year. Beparwah will bring Ahaan and Sharvari together on screen for the first time, creating a fresh pairing for Yash Raj Films.
Beparwah poster hints at a gun-and-guitar romance
The first poster of Beparwah introduces the film through two contrasting images. Ahaan is seen holding a gun, while Sharvari carries a guitar, suggesting that the story will combine action with a romantic and musical dimension.
The rugged setting adds to the film’s intense visual tone. However, with neither actor’s face visible, the poster offers only a limited glimpse of their characters and keeps further details about the story concealed.
The title and poster announcement establishes the film’s identity ahead of its scheduled release. The combination of a weapon and a musical instrument also gives the first look a distinctive visual hook, setting up expectations of a romance that unfolds against a more action-oriented backdrop.
Yash Raj Films has not revealed the complete plot in the announcement. Further details about the characters, supporting cast and storyline are expected to emerge as the film’s promotional campaign develops.
Ahaan Panday returns after Saiyaara
Beparwah follows Ahaan Panday’s acting debut in Yash Raj Films’ Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri. In the musical romantic drama, Ahaan starred opposite Aneet Padda.
The film marked his entry into Hindi cinema and introduced him to audiences in a leading role. His next project brings him back to the YRF banner, this time in a story that combines romance and action under Ali Abbas Zafar’s direction.
The new film also gives Ahaan an opportunity to work with Sharvari, who has been building her profile through projects across different genres.
Their first on-screen collaboration is one of the key talking points surrounding Beparwah. While the poster establishes the broad mood of the film, the actors’ characters and the nature of their relationship remain undisclosed.
Sharvari joins Ahaan in a new romantic action-drama
Sharvari has worked across films and genres, and Beparwah brings her into a project that appears to combine romantic storytelling with action-driven sequences.
The poster’s guitar imagery offers a possible musical element to her character, while Ahaan’s gun suggests a more intense side to the story. These visuals establish a contrast between the two leads, although the film’s precise narrative and character arcs have not yet been revealed.
The pairing marks the first time Ahaan and Sharvari will share the screen. Their performances and chemistry are likely to be central to the film’s appeal, particularly as the project positions itself as a romantic action-drama rather than a conventional love story.
With the release date now confirmed, the film’s promotional material is expected to provide more information about the characters and the relationship at the centre of the narrative.
Ali Abbas Zafar returns to Yash Raj Films
Beparwah also marks Ali Abbas Zafar’s return to Yash Raj Films, the production banner behind some of his best-known projects.
Zafar previously collaborated with the studio on Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both films combined large-scale action with emotionally driven stories and were significant releases in his career.
With Beparwah, the filmmaker is set to explore a new story led by Ahaan and Sharvari. The film’s first poster suggests an approach that places romance alongside action, though the director has yet to disclose further details about its narrative style.
Aditya Chopra is producing the film under the YRF banner. The combination of an established production house and a director with experience in large-scale Hindi cinema has added to interest in the project.
The film’s release in March 2027 will also place it among the upcoming Hindi theatrical releases to watch as the next year’s cinema calendar takes shape.
Bobby Deol and Aaishvary Thackeray reportedly linked to the cast
Apart from the lead pair, Bobby Deol has reportedly joined the film in a character with grey shades. A report published by Mid-Day in 2025 suggested that his role would involve a position of authority, with the character’s motivations and relationship with the protagonist becoming more complex as the story progresses.
The report indicated that Deol’s character may not be a conventional antagonist. However, the details of his role have not been officially confirmed in the announcement accompanying the title poster.
Actor Aaishvary Thackeray has also been linked to the project. Thackeray made his acting debut with Anurag Kashyap’s Nishaanchi.
Further details about the supporting cast and the characters they will portray remain awaited. Until the production house makes a formal announcement, reports about additional cast members should be treated as unconfirmed.
Beparwah release date confirmed for March 2027
The film’s production journey became public in April 2026, when the commencement of shooting was announced. The unveiling of its title and first poster now provides audiences with a clearer picture of the project’s identity and theatrical plans.
Beparwah is scheduled to release worldwide in cinemas on March 26, 2027. The date gives the film several months to build anticipation through trailers, music releases and other promotional material.
For now, the poster serves as the first introduction to the film’s visual world, with Ahaan’s gun and Sharvari’s guitar signalling the combination of action and romance suggested by its genre.
As Yash Raj Films prepares for the release, audiences will be looking for more details about the storyline, the supporting cast and the chemistry between the two leads.
