Hyderabad: Tollywood music director Bheems Cecirolio is firmly on a career high, emerging as one of the most in-demand composers in Telugu cinema and now preparing to step into Bollywood. According to a report by Cinema Express, the chart-topping composer has been signed on as the music director for the Hindi remake of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, marking his official Bollywood debut and a significant milestone in his musical journey.

Back-to-back Sankranthi musical blockbusters

Bheems Cecirolio’s rise over the past two years has been nothing short of remarkable. During last year’s Sankranthi season, he delivered a major musical success with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, starring Venkatesh and directed by Anil Ravipudi. The album struck a chord with audiences across age groups, with songs such as Godari Gattu Meedha and Blockbuster Pongal becoming instant festive anthems. Even months after the film’s release, the tracks continue to enjoy high streaming numbers and frequent airplay, underlining their lasting popularity.

The success of the soundtrack played a crucial role in enhancing the film’s celebratory mood, reinforcing Bheems’ reputation as a composer who understands mass appeal and festival sentiment exceptionally well.

Another festive triumph with Chiranjeevi

The current year’s Sankranthi further strengthened Bheems Cecirolio’s standing in the industry. He reunited with director Anil Ravipudi for Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi. Once again, the music emerged as a key highlight of the film’s success.

Songs like Meesala Pilla and Sasirekha quickly climbed music charts and became favourites during the festive season. The album’s widespread acceptance helped the film connect strongly with family audiences, allowing Bheems to score back-to-back Sankranthi musical victories — an achievement few composers manage in such a short span.

Multiple releases, consistent impact

In addition to his collaborations with Venkatesh and Chiranjeevi, Bheems also composed the music for Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, which released during the same Sankranthi window. Despite the crowded festive release schedule, the film’s songs found their audience, further showcasing the composer’s ability to deliver distinct yet mass-friendly soundtracks across multiple projects simultaneously.

Industry observers note that Bheems’ strength lies in blending folk influences with contemporary arrangements, a style that has resonated strongly with Telugu audiences in recent years.

Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar

Riding high on this string of successes, Bheems Cecirolio is now set to expand his horizons beyond Telugu cinema. As reported by Cinema Express, he has been roped in as the music director for the Hindi remake of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. The Bollywood adaptation will feature Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

Notably, producer Dil Raju, who backed the original Telugu film, is also producing the Hindi version. Impressed by the impact and popularity of the original soundtrack, Dil Raju decided to retain Bheems for the remake, signalling strong confidence in the composer’s ability to appeal to a pan-Indian audience.

Official confirmation at success meet

The development was officially announced during the success meet of Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi. At the event, the makers confirmed that Bheems is already busy working on his Hindi debut project. The announcement generated considerable excitement among fans and industry insiders alike, who see this as a natural progression for the composer’s flourishing career.

Collaborating with a Bollywood star of Akshay Kumar’s stature is expected to give Bheems significant visibility at the national level, opening doors to further opportunities across industries.

A pan-Indian musical journey begins

With consecutive festive chartbusters in Telugu cinema and now a high-profile Bollywood launch, Bheems Cecirolio appears poised to make his mark on a pan-Indian scale. His journey reflects the growing trend of regional composers crossing over into Hindi cinema, driven by the increasing acceptance of diverse musical styles across India.

As audiences await his Bollywood debut, expectations are high that Bheems will bring his signature energy, folk flavour and mass appeal to Hindi film music as well.
