Mumbai: A viral video linked to globally popular K-pop group BTS has reignited excitement among Indian fans, with many speculating that the group could finally be planning a visit to India as part of its ongoing ARIRANG World Tour.

The video, which began circulating widely on social media on May 23, featured visuals of landmarks and cityscapes from multiple countries, including India’s iconic Taj Mahal. The clip prominently displayed the partial word “ARIH”, leaving fans guessing whether the teaser hinted at additional tour stops for BTS.

The seven-member group comprising RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook is currently touring globally with the ARIRANG World Tour.

Although BTS has not officially announced any India concert dates, the appearance of the Taj Mahal in the video was enough to send Indian ARMY fans into a frenzy online.

Viral video fuels India tour rumours

The clip reportedly featured slides showcasing locations from countries including Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Japan, France, China, Taiwan, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Korea and India.

Many fans immediately interpreted the video as a subtle teaser suggesting future additions to BTS’ tour schedule, potentially including India.

Social media platforms quickly filled with reactions from excited Indian ARMY members.

One fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “Taj Mahal is just a ray of hope that BTS is coming to India.”

Another user claimed, “I am telling you BTS is gonna be in India for their 2027 tour. Mark my words. From all the hints and subtle foreshadowing. It is happening.”

Several fans also linked the speculation to HYBE opening its Mumbai office earlier and recent expansion activities involving BTS-related products in India.

However, many users later pointed out that the video may not actually be connected to tour announcements.

What is ARIH?

According to fan discussions and reports circulating online, the viral video is believed to be related to BTS’ newly launched food and beverage brand named ARIH rather than additional concert destinations.

ARIH is reportedly inspired by the group’s ARIRANG era and focuses on Korean-inspired instant noodles, drinks and wellness products.

The brand was officially launched in the United States earlier this year and is now preparing for expansion into international markets beginning June 4, 2026.

Fans online suggested that the countries shown in the teaser video likely represent regions where ARIH products may become available rather than future tour locations.

The name “ARIH” is reportedly derived from the Korean word “ari,” meaning beautiful or graceful, while the “H” symbolises harmony, happiness and health.

Reports also claim BTS members were personally involved in aspects of the brand’s development, including packaging concepts, flavours and branding ideas.

BTS ARIRANG World Tour details

Earlier this week, BTS officially announced ticketing information and venue details for the Asia and Australia leg of the ARIRANG World Tour.

The Asia-Pacific leg is scheduled to begin on November 19, 2026, at the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan. Additional concerts are planned across Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta throughout December.

The group will then travel to Australia in February 2027 for stadium shows in Melbourne and Sydney before concluding the regional leg with concerts in Hong Kong and Manila in March 2027.

So far, India has not been included in the officially announced schedule.

Massive global demand for BTS tour

The ARIRANG World Tour has already witnessed extraordinary global demand.

According to reports, BTS has sold out all 41 stadium concerts announced across the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom and Latin America, with nearly 24 lakh tickets reportedly sold.

The overwhelming response forced organisers to add extra dates in cities including Las Vegas, Tampa and Stanford, which also sold out rapidly.

The concerts are expected to feature an advanced 360-degree stage setup designed to provide a more immersive stadium experience while accommodating larger audiences.

ARMY member presales are scheduled to begin on June 2, while general ticket sales will open on June 4 through the tour’s official platform.

Conclusion

While the viral ARIH video has sparked fresh hope among Indian BTS fans, there is currently no official confirmation regarding an India concert. However, the inclusion of Indian imagery and HYBE’s growing presence in the country continue to fuel speculation that BTS could eventually bring its global tour to India in the future.
