Mangaluru: The ARMY has had contradictory opinions since the K-pop band Bangtan Boys (BTS) revealed taking a break during the BTS Festa 2022. While some argue that the decision to disband was wrong, others believe it is the ideal time for the members, including RM, Jin, Jungkook, Jimin, V, Jhope, and Suga to focus on their individual projects.

BTS has already made it clear numerous times that the band is not disbanding. The band’s management company, Big Hit Entertainment, soon made it clear that the band is not disbanding but shifting its focus to each member’s solo ventures not taking a hiatus.

Following much debate and criticism, the BTS ARMY has shown its support for the band by expressing its support on social media with #BTSItsOkayToRest and its trending first on Twitter.

BTS Army showed their unwavering support by sharing photos and videos thanking them for all that they have done for them.

One Twitter user said, “9 years, 16 albums, 2 ONU speeches, Unicef Love Yourself campaign, meeting with the President of the US, Order of Cultural Merit, Moon’s Special Envoys, 5 years as Honorary Ambassadors for Seoul, over 450 awards, 6 Hot100 #1s & hundreds of records broken. #BTSitsokaytorest.”

“For almost a decade you’ve kept running, responsible for a lot of changes internationally and opened a lot of doors that were once closed. Rest, however, you want and for how long you desire. People’s approvals are no longer your problem nor concern,” was another tweet.

Another Twitter user wrote that it’s so sad that people have to stand up for this but band deserves all the rest and healing that they need as they have been working for nine years. “Creating beautiful music now let them be and let them rest and leave them alone!!! Give them time,” it added.

Many shared that the K-pop band has worked so hard for over nine years. It further said, “We have always got each other’s back. We are here to stay, protect and support you. We will always be waiting for you @BTS_twt. ARMY FOREVER BANGTAN FOREVER.”
