Celebrities and Companies Rally for L.A. Fire Relief

In response to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, notable celebrities, corporations, and organizations have pledged significant resources to support relief efforts:

  • Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD Foundation donated $2.5 million for housing, community centers, and churches in Altadena and Pasadena.
  • Disney committed $15 million to multiple organizations, including the Red Cross and local fire departments.
  • Walmart pledged $2.5 million in cash and essential supplies, while Kroger donated $1 million.
  • Airbnb is offering free housing in partnership with local nonprofits.
  • Paramount, Fox Corp., and FanDuel contributed to relief funds, with Paramount donating $1 million.
  • Paris Hilton launched an emergency fund, starting with $100,000, and offered to match up to another $100,000.

Other contributors include Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg, and Prince Harry & Meghan Markle, who donated monetarily and provided supplies. The NFL is also selling team merchandise to raise funds and pledged $5 million to wildfire relief.

Many celebrities, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Halle Berry, and Sharon Stone, donated personal items and funds. Bethenny Frankel’s BStrong partnered with the Global Empowerment Mission to send aid.
