Mumbai: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The couple announced the arrival of their daughter on social media on September 19 with a simple post featuring a picture of a baby’s foot.
The announcement carried the message, “Welcome Home Baby Girl”, and revealed September 19 as the baby’s birth date. The couple’s understated announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans and members of the film industry.

Following the announcement, several Bollywood celebrities extended their wishes to Deepika and Ranveer. Kriti Sanon, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Sonu Sood were among those who congratulated the couple on the arrival of their second daughter.

From ‘Ram-Leela’ co-stars to a family of four
Deepika and Ranveer’s relationship began after they worked together on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2013. Their relationship eventually led to marriage after several years of dating.
The actors tied the knot on November 14 and 15, 2018, in a destination wedding at Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy. The celebrations incorporated both Konkani and Sindhi traditions.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Dua Padukone Singh, on September 8, 2024. Deepika and Ranveer had announced their first pregnancy earlier that year.
Second pregnancy announced in April
Deepika and Ranveer announced their second pregnancy on April 19, 2026, through a joint social media post featuring their daughter Dua. The announcement stated that the baby was due in September.
