Kannada cinema star Duniya Vijay is receiving widespread acclaim for his latest film Bheema, which was released on August 9. The film, which addresses the theme of drug rackets and aims to raise awareness among the youth, has resonated with both critics and audiences. In light of the film’s message, Duniya Vijay has announced that he will be launching a drug awareness campaign in educational institutions across Bengaluru.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Duniya Vijay shared his plans to visit colleges and schools to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse. This initiative was sparked by a recent personal experience he discussed during a Facebook live session, where he encountered young people involved in drug use. Authorities confiscated tablet-like drugs from the group, but to protect their futures, the identities of the individuals and their institutions have been kept confidential.
Through this campaign, Duniya Vijay hopes to spread the film’s message further and encourage the youth to watch Bheema, which explicitly tackles the issue of drug abuse. The actor’s team will seek permission from school and college administrations before commencing the awareness sessions.
Bheema is directed by Duniya Vijay, who also stars as the lead and co-writer. The film features a strong cast, including Ashwini, Black Dragon Manju, Kalyani Raju, and Gili Gili Chandru. It is produced by Krishna Sarthak and Jagadeesh Gowda, with music by Charan Raj, cinematography by Shiva Sena, and editing by Deepu S Kumar.
