Filmy stars rock at the Mulund festival 2013

Mumbai: The Mulund Festival was initiated by Charan Singh Sapra, the MLC and Chairman of Sewak (NGO) that concluded yesterday with a starring goodbye to year 2013.

The 5 day event started from 25th– 29th Dec 2013 which was a grand success. It featured more than 10000 participants in 10 different events which included Karaoke Singing, Dancing, Box Cricket, Body Building, Badminton, Painting, Rangoli, Marathon, Carnival Junction, Harley Davidson Bike Rally and many more.

Charan Singh Sapra said, “We are bringing all the sections of societies and people of different age groups on a common platform and also give them a chance to exhibit and excel their talents.”

With the theme “Masti-Mohabbat Mail” the event started with a Carnival Junction which was inaugurated by Marathi Actress Mrinal Kulkarni, followed by Harley Davidson Bike rally with the Message of “Save Girl Child” which was Flagged-off by Bollywood Star Shreyas Talpade.
The third day of the event witnessed, Body Building competition which was a mega hit where Bollywood star Murli Sharma and Vineet Sharma praised body builders. The festival also observed a Lavani performance by Marathi Actress Sonalee Kulkarni.

The Grand Finale was on 29th December that witnessed a performance by Sukhwinder Singh and his troupes.
Parineeti Chopra also graced the occasion and said, “I feel lucky to be here and its great place to enjoy and forget everything. And I am happy be a part of this.”

Others present at the event were Shekhar Suman, Politician Janardhan Chandurkar, Sanjay Patil, Dharmesh Jain and Syoraj Valmiki-Secretary AICC also graced the occasion.
