Mumbai: Brad Pitt-starrer Heart of the Beast recorded strong growth at the Indian box office on its first Saturday, taking its two-day India net collection to Rs 2.05 crore.

The survival thriller, which arrived in theatres on September 25, earned Rs 1.35 crore net in India on Day 2, registering a 92.9 per cent increase over its opening-day collection of Rs 70 lakh, according to Sacnilk estimates.

The film has also recorded a worldwide gross of around $7.81 million after two days, with the bulk of its earnings coming from the United States and Canada.
