Janhvi Kapoor is presently busy promoting her upcoming film, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, as it gets ready for release. Recently, Janhvi Kapoor discussed her connection with Shikhar Pahariya in an interview with Mirchi Plus. Janhvi Kapoor talked about her parents, the late star Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, and how they had supported her before talking about Shikhar. Since she was a teenager, Janhvi said, Shikhar has played a big role in her life. She talked about how they encourage and support one another’s dreams and how they give encouragement for one another.
Janhvi Kapoor said, “He has been in my life since I was 15 or 16. I think my dreams have always been his dreams, and his dreams have always been my dreams. We’ve been very close. We’ve been each other’s support system, almost as if we’ve raised each other.”
Janhvi Kapoor released a brand-new poster on social media a few days ago. In the most recent poster, Janhvi pleased fans by giving them a glimpse of her and Rajkummar’s personas. Janhvi is seen on the cricket pitch in the billboard, sitting in a pink jacket and black joggers. She is pictured with gloves for maintaining wickets and batting pads on. Directed by Sharan Sharma, acclaimed for his directorial debut Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Mr And Mrs Mahi marks the second collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao following their successful venture in Roohi.
Originally scheduled for an April release, the sports drama is now slated to hit theatres on May 31, 2024.
