New Delhi: Actress Kangana Ranaut lauded the leading women scientists of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), who were instrumental in the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. She praised them as exemplifying “simple living and high thinking.” The mission accomplished a successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s South Pole.
Kangana shared her admiration on her Instagram Stories, posting a joyful picture of ISRO’s women scientists dressed in sarees, symbolizing Indian traditional culture. Her caption read, “India’s leading scientists, all of them with bindi, sindoor, and Mangal sutra… epitome of simple living and high thinking … true essence of Bhartiyata,” along with the Indian flag emoji.
Additionally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the landing site of the Chandrayaan-3 Mission would be designated as “Shiv Shakti Point.” He also declared that the day of the Vikram Lander’s Moon touchdown (August 23) would be celebrated as “National Space Day” in India.
Meanwhile, Kangana is set to appear in ‘Chandramukhi 2,’ a sequel to the blockbuster Tamil film ‘Chandramukhi,’ starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika, alongside Raghava Lawrence.
She also has Sarvesh Mewara’s ‘Tejas’ in her lineup, anticipated to release on October 20. Another film on her agenda is ‘Emergency,’ where she shares the screen with Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, and Milind Soman. The movie is slated to release on November 24.
