Mumbai: BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut has escalated her war of words with the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), launching a fresh attack on its spokesperson Saurav Das through a series of Instagram Stories. The exchange comes days after Das criticised Ranaut over her remarks on Gen Z and the CJP-led NEET-UG 2026 protests.

Kangana hits back at Saurav Das

Sharing a screenshot of Das’s interview with ANI, Ranaut questioned his claim of being a student, pointing out that he is 28 years old.

She contrasted his career with her own, stating that she had already won two National Film Awards by the same age and had spent nearly two decades in public life before entering politics.

Calling Das “totally useless and unemployed”, Ranaut said he would never understand the demands of balancing multiple professional roles, including filmmaking, acting, writing and public service. She also advised him to “learn some skill”.

Earlier remarks on CJP protests

In another Instagram Story, Ranaut criticised videos from the CJP protests, describing them as “puke-inducing” and taking aim at the language used by protesters.

She also expressed concern over damage to public property during the demonstrations and questioned the conduct of those participating in the agitation.

Saurav Das questioned Ranaut’s credibility

Ranaut’s latest remarks came in response to comments made by Das during an interview with ANI, where he said that even members of her own party did not take her political statements seriously.

He also claimed that younger generations, including Gen Z and Gen Alpha, were unlikely to relate to her views and argued that young people had contributed significantly to the country.

War of words continues

The public exchange is the latest chapter in the ongoing dispute between Ranaut and the CJP, which began during the nationwide protests over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak.

While the protests have ended, the verbal sparring between Ranaut and CJP leaders has continued on social media, with both sides repeatedly criticising each other’s statements and positions.
