Abu Dhabi: The Konkani movie “PAYANN” had a successful premiere in Abu Dhabi, organized by Broadway Events & Production with support from Royal Friends Club. The event began with a tribute to the late Sharan D Souza, an active community member, followed by introductions of actors Leslie Rego, Clement Lobo, and Blossom Rego. Guests like Vivek Serrao, KCO president, Mrs. Cynthia D’Cunha, well know community member and Valerian Dalmaida of NewsKarnataka.com were also honored. Producer Melwyn Peris, Neeta Peris, and Director Joel Pereira were represented by Leslie Rego. The show took place at Star Cinema, Al Wahda Mall.
