According to the charge sheet, the Bishnoi gang allegedly issued a contract valued at Rs 25 lakh for Khan’s assassination, with planning spanning from August 2023 to April 2024. Investigations uncovered plans to procure sophisticated firearms from Pakistan, such as AK-47s, AK-92s, M16 rifles, and a Turkish-made Zigana handgun previously used in a high-profile murder case.

Beyond weapon procurement, the conspiracy allegedly involved extensive surveillance. Approximately 60 to 70 individuals were reportedly involved in monitoring Khan’s movements, including his Mumbai and Panvel residences, as well as Goregaon Film City, a frequent filming location for the actor. Shockingly, minors were purportedly recruited for operational roles, awaiting directives from key figures like Goldie Brar and Anmol Bishnoi, believed to be based in North America.
