Mumbai: The makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated romantic drama Love & War have unveiled the first look of Alia Bhatt, offering audiences a glimpse of the actress in a glamorous, cabaret-inspired avatar.
The reveal comes shortly after the makers introduced Ranbir Kapoor’s look from the film. Alia’s poster presents her in a distinctly retro-inspired style, adding another layer of intrigue to the characters at the centre of Bhansali’s upcoming directorial.

In the newly released poster, Alia Bhatt is seen seated on a chair and dressed in a striking slit skirt. She completes the look with a headpiece, while her styling, pose and expression give the character a confident and glamorous appearance.
Sharing the first look on social media, the makers captioned the poster, “Aag bhi, dilon ki jaan bhi!”
The poster marks another step in the film’s promotional campaign, with the makers gradually introducing the principal characters and their distinct visual identities.
Alia reunites with Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Love & War marks Alia Bhatt’s second collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after Gangubai Kathiawadi. In the 2022 film, Alia played the titular character in a performance that became one of the most prominent roles of her career.
The upcoming film also brings Alia and Ranbir Kapoor together again following their collaboration in Brahmastra. Their pairing has been one of the major talking points surrounding Love & War.
Alia will also share the screen with Vicky Kaushal, with whom she previously worked in Raazi. The film marks the first time Alia, Ranbir and Vicky will feature together in a project.

Love & War is scheduled to release worldwide on January 21, 2027. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
