Former Miss World and Bollywood actor Manushi Chhillar recently opened the doors to her sea-facing apartment in Mumbai, offering fans a rare look at her new home.

The actor moved into the apartment just a week before sharing the home tour and described the space as a work in progress that reflects her personality and memories.

“Home for me is where my loved ones are,” she said while speaking about the house, explaining that the space has been designed around comfort, warmth and personal connections rather than just aesthetics.

A journey that began in Delhi

Originally from New Delhi, Chhillar first arrived in Mumbai while participating in the Femina Miss India competition.

After winning the title and later being crowned Miss World in 2017, she gradually made Mumbai her permanent base.

In her early days in the city, she stayed in the Miss India penthouse in Bandra along with other contestants.

While the residence was prestigious, she admitted it eventually felt lonely as many of the contestants moved on and she began focusing on her career.

A home still taking shape

The new apartment represents a fresh chapter in Chhillar’s life as she continues to build her career in films.

During the home tour, she shared that the house is still being carefully arranged, with furniture, décor and personal touches gradually coming together.

The sea-facing apartment reflects a blend of minimal design and cosy spaces, creating a calm environment away from the fast pace of Mumbai’s entertainment industry.

For Chhillar, the home symbolises a sense of belonging after years of moving between cities and living in temporary spaces during pageants and film projects.

She said the most important part of the home is not the view or the décor, but the memories she hopes to create there with family and friends.
