Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday is celebrated like a festival by his fans. As the legendary actor turned 82 today, admirers gathered outside his residence to catch a glimpse of their idol, just as they do every year.
On this special day, fans were seen shouting and taking pictures of the “Shahenshah of Bollywood” as he made a brief appearance outside his home, Jalsa. The superstar was met with cheers and excitement as his devoted followers expressed their love and admiration.
Several Bollywood celebrities extended their heartfelt wishes to Big B on his birthday. Producer Anand Pandit shared nostalgic memories, reflecting on how Amitabh’s iconic film “Trishul” influenced him. “I have grown up watching Bachchan ji’s films. ‘Trishul’ is one film that deeply impacted me. I watched it about 60-70 times at that time. I had in mind that I also wanted to become the Amitabh Bachchan of ‘Trishul.’ It motivated me a lot and it’s somehow responsible for making me move to Mumbai,” Anand Pandit told ANI.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan’s recent film “Vettaiyan,” featuring Rajinikanth, was released in theatres. The film also includes performances by Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati. In the coming months, fans can look forward to seeing him alongside Deepika Padukone in the Hindi remake of “The Intern.” Earlier this year, the duo appeared in the futuristic film “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin. This post-apocalyptic film, inspired by Hindu scriptures, is set in the year 2898 AD and features a stellar cast, including Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Disha Patani.
As Amitabh Bachchan celebrates another year, his impact on cinema and the hearts of millions remains unmatched, proving that he truly is a legend in the world of Bollywood.
