Nikhil Siddhartha unveils poster for upcoming ‘Swayambhu’

Nikhil Siddhartha has initiated filming for his upcoming fantasy-action-romance movie titled 'Swayambhu', unveiling a fresh poster for the film on his Instagram account. The poster showcases a scroll displaying Nikhil as a formidable warrior, mounted on a horse in a radiant golden light. He is depicted drawing his bow and arrow to confront a fire-breathing serpent-like creature. Accompanying the poster of 'Swayambhu', Nikhil captioned it with: "Embarking on The Grand Journey #Swayambhu #CommencementofShooting." Earlier, the actor had also introduced another remarkable poster, presenting him clad in battle armor, holding a spear poised to combat adversaries. Despite limited information available about the film, it has been described as a lavish spectacle and is anticipated to adopt a style reminiscent of iconic Indian fantasy epic war films such as 'Baahubali' and 'Maghadheera'. Following the remarkable success of 'Karthikeya 2', which elevated Nikhil's stature to a pan Indian level, given its substantial performance even in the Hindi-speaking regions, 'Swayambhu' will see Nikhil embracing a more experimental approach. This decision follows the release of his recent film 'Spy', which did not attain significant box office success. However, setbacks at the box office have not deterred Nikhil from undertaking ambitious projects. 'Swayambhu' stands as his 20th cinematic venture and is poised to be his most audacious and high-budget undertaking thus far. It is set to encompass extensive production values, intricate set designs, and a multifaceted storyline. In the meantime, audiences are anxiously anticipating the arrival of 'Karthikeya 3', currently in the production phase. Helmed by director Bharat Krishnamachari, the musical score is orchestrated by Ravi Basru, with production overseen by Bhuvan and Sreekar. 'Swayambhu' is slated for release across India in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada languages. However, at present, no official announcement has been made regarding the film's release date, leaving an air of mystery surrounding it.
