Actress Rashmika Mandanna recently visited the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, popularly known as Atal Setu, during her stay in Mumbai. She shared a video on her social media platform X (formerly Twitter), expressing admiration for the Mumbai trans harbour link as a remarkable innovation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged her post, emphasizing the significance of connecting people and enhancing lives.
In the shared video, Rashmika lauds the bridge for drastically reducing travel time from hours to minutes. Her caption reads, “South India to North India… West India to East India… Connecting people, connecting hearts! #MyIndia.” PM Modi echoed her sentiments by resharing her post, highlighting the satisfaction derived from fostering connections. Rashmika, in response, expressed her gratitude to the PM, describing it as an honor to witness the nation’s progress.

During an interview with ANI while filming the video, Rashmika reiterated her admiration for India’s development, particularly in the past decade. She praised the country’s infrastructure and strategic planning, expressing awe at the completion of the project in just seven years covering 20 kilometers.
Rashmika is currently busy with multiple projects in Hindi and Telugu cinema. In Telugu, she will reprise her role as Srivalli in Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule and star in films like Kubera with Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Jim Sarbh, The Girlfriend directed by Rahul Ravindran, and Rainbow directed by Shantharuban. In Hindi, she is set to appear in AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar alongside Salman Khan and Laxman Utekar’s Chhava with Vicky Kaushal.
