Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor arrived in Mumbai later in the afternoon to participate in the voting process. He sported a casual attire comprising a white shirt and jeans, accessorized with noticeable golden studs in his ears, possibly echoing a theme from Ramayan.

Upon his arrival at the polling booth, Ranbir Kapoor encountered veteran actor Prem Chopra, accompanied by his son-in-law and actor Sharman Joshi. Demonstrating respect, Kapoor paid homage to Prem Chopra by touching his feet, and subsequently engaged in a brief conversation with Joshi.

Following their interaction, Kapoor proceeded to cast his vote inside the polling booth. Before departing, he once again showed reverence to Prem Chopra by touching his feet.

Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, accompanied by her mother and maasi Padmini Kohlapure, as well as her brother Siddhanth, also arrived to exercise their voting rights. Shraddha, clad in a white suit, entered the polling booth with determination.

Encouraging others, Kapoor emphasized the significance of voting, stating, “Everyone has the power on one fingertip. Please go and vote.”

Throughout the day, several Bollywood celebrities, including Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Kiara Advani, Gulzar, Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, and Shilpa Shetty, among others, were spotted casting their votes. Notably, heavily pregnant Deepika Padukone accompanied by her husband Ranveer Singh, held his hand as they entered the polling booth.

Elderly actors like Dharmendra and Shobha Khote also prioritized their civic duty by participating in the voting process.

Earlier in the day, Jahnvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Akshay Kumar were seen casting their votes before attending to their respective professional commitments. Notably, it marked Akshay Kumar’s first time voting in India after relinquishing his Canadian citizenship last year.

Jahnvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao were headed to Benaras for the promotions of their film, “Mr & Mrs Mahi.”
