Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was spotted visiting veteran screenwriter Salim Khan at Lilavati Hospital on Saturday, days after the 90-year-old was admitted following a minor brain haemorrhage.

Videos of Shah Rukh’s arrival circulated widely on social media, showing the actor maintaining a low profile as he entered the hospital. Fans praised the gesture, calling it a reflection of solidarity during a difficult time for the Khan family.

Health condition stable

Earlier, Dr Jalil Parkar confirmed that Salim Khan’s condition is stable. He reportedly experienced jerks and high blood pressure, following which he was placed on ventilator support as a precautionary measure. Doctors conducted necessary investigations and a minor procedure.

He has since been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit and is said to be recovering steadily, although age remains a factor in his healing process.

Family seeks privacy

Reports suggest that the family prefers to keep health updates private. Sources indicated that they were displeased with medical information being publicly shared, emphasising that any communication regarding his condition should come directly from the family.

Several members of the Khan family have been present at the hospital since his admission on February 17. Other personalities, including Malaika Arora, were also seen visiting.

Salim Khan, one-half of the iconic Salim–Javed duo with Javed Akhtar, penned classics such as Sholay, Deewaar and Zanjeer, leaving an indelible mark on Hindi cinema.
