Mumbai: Actress Shambhavi Singh has shared her experience of filming in the snow-covered landscapes of Manali for the television show Mr and Mrs Parshuram, describing it as both magical and physically demanding.
The actress revealed that while the scenic Himalayan backdrop added beauty to the show’s upcoming episodes, shooting in freezing temperatures tested the endurance of the cast and crew.
Key sequence filmed in Manali
The team of Mr and Mrs Parshuram recently travelled to Manali to shoot an important segment that will play a significant role in the storyline.
The upcoming track centres on the kidnapping of Parshuram, introducing a dramatic twist that is expected to raise suspense about the character’s fate and rescue.
Alongside the action-driven plot developments, the schedule also included several romantic sequences set against the snow-covered mountains.
Chiffon saree scene became memorable experience
For Shambhavi Singh, who portrays Shalini in the series, one particular sequence became the highlight of the shoot.
The actress recalled filming a romantic scene in a chiffon saree amid the snow-clad mountains, saying it felt like she was part of a classic Bollywood romance.
According to Shambhavi, the sequence brought back memories of iconic film scenes often associated with snow-filled locations and picturesque landscapes.
Freezing temperatures posed challenges
Despite the visual appeal, the actress admitted that filming in extreme cold conditions was far from easy.
She said the freezing temperatures made shooting physically challenging for everyone involved in the production.
Shambhavi also revealed that it was her first experience witnessing snowfall in person, making the schedule both memorable and overwhelming.
The actress noted that several members of the production team were also seeing snow for the first time, creating an atmosphere of excitement on set.
Actress fell ill during schedule
The sudden change in weather conditions had a noticeable impact on the actress.
Shambhavi disclosed that she fell ill during the shoot due to the intense cold and the contrast with Mumbai’s warmer climate.
However, she added that the beauty of the location and the enthusiasm surrounding the schedule made the experience worthwhile despite the difficulties.
The actress said the stunning surroundings helped the team remain motivated throughout the demanding shoot.
Dramatic episodes ahead
The Manali schedule is expected to feature prominently in the upcoming episodes of the show.
Viewers can look forward to a combination of high-stakes drama involving the kidnapping storyline and visually striking scenes filmed against the backdrop of the Himalayan mountains.
The makers believe the location will add both emotional depth and cinematic appeal to the narrative.
