Balu Narayanan’s bilingual film ‘Sheela,’ which is made in both Kannada and Malayalam languages, is at the forefront, putting the spotlight on Ragini Dwivedi, who portrays the lead character. The movie promises to deliver a powerful and empowering experience to the audience.

Ragini Dwivedi, having worked with iconic actors like Mohanlal and Mammootty in the past, is thrilled about her role in ‘Sheela.’ Her previous collaborations include ‘Kandahar’ alongside Mohanlal in 2010 and ‘Face to Face’ with Mammootty in 2012. The Malayalam version of ‘Sheela’ premiered on July 28.

In an interview, Ragini Dwivedi shared insights into the film’s storyline, which delves into the emotional journey of an ambitious woman on a quest from Karnataka to Kerala in search of answers. The movie portrays her entanglement in power struggles and the internal dynamics of men, driven by revenge. Drawing inspiration from the real-life experiences of many women in Kerala and Karnataka, ‘Sheela’ emphasizes women’s innate strength to navigate challenges independently and find resilience within themselves to overcome adversity.

The film is produced by D. M. Pillay, with music by Abey David and cinematography by Arun Koothaduthu. Kiran Das is the editor, Rajesh P. M. serves as the sound designer, and Anoop Choolur takes charge as the art director. The movie promises an exhilarating blend of emotion and suspense, delivering a powerful and empowering experience to the audience.
