Popular actress and reality TV personality Shefali Jariwala, best remembered as the ‘Kaanta Laga’ girl, passed away on June 27, 2025, following a cardiac arrest at her Mumbai home. She was 42.

Shefali was earlier married to Harmeet Singh of Meet Bros (2004–2009). She met Parag in 2010, and the couple married in 2014. Academically inclined, Shefali held a degree in Computer Applications from Sardar Patel College. She courageously lived with epilepsy since age 15.
