Singer Sidhu Moosewala‘s parents celebrated the arrival of a baby boy on Sunday, nearly two years following Moosewala’s tragic passing in Punjab.
Balkaur Singh, Moosewala’s father, took to his Facebook account to share the joyous news of their newest family member. Alongside a photograph of the baby, a welcome cake adorned with Moosewala’s image served as a poignant backdrop.
Moosewala, the sole child of Balkaur Singh, 60, and Charan Kaur, 58, had long awaited this addition to their family. Sources revealed that Moosewala’s parents underwent IVF treatment abroad last year, maintaining confidentiality until the successful outcome was achieved.
The acclaimed singer, who had previously contested the Punjab Assembly elections in 2022 under the Congress banner from Mansa, tragically lost his life on May 29 of the same year. Investigations into his murder have implicated 31 individuals, including gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, with 25 arrests made thus far.
Moosewala, renowned for his musical prowess and immense popularity, continued to captivate audiences, particularly the youth, through his songwriting and production endeavors. Even posthumously, his releases garnered millions of views, attesting to his enduring legacy.
