Singer Sonu Nigam won hearts after a touching moment from his recent concert in Hubbali showed him calmly helping a lost child reunite with his family, using music, humour and compassion in front of a massive crowd.

A tense moment turns reassuring

The incident occurred during a packed concert attended by nearly 30,000 people. A young boy, later identified as Sri Sai, was brought on stage after getting separated from his family in the crowd. Visibly nervous, the child stood beside Sonu as the singer gently tried to ease his anxiety.

Sharing the video on social media, Sonu wrote that Sri Sai looked “scared and nervous” after being lost, but seemed calmer once he found his way to the stage.

Music, humour and empathy on stage

Turning the situation into a light-hearted yet effective announcement, Sonu sang an impromptu line asking the child’s family to come forward. His playful lyrics and warm tone drew laughter and applause, instantly relaxing both the child and the audience.

The moment took an unexpected turn when Sonu jokingly mentioned the boy’s parents, only to learn that Sri Sai had come with his uncle. Thinking on his feet, Sonu switched gears and theatrically called out for “chachu”, continuing the search with humour while ensuring the child felt safe.

Careful verification before reunion

Within minutes, the concert’s production team located the boy’s uncle. Sonu made sure the relationship was verified before allowing Sri Sai to leave the stage, earning loud applause for his sensitivity and presence of mind.

Fans praise the gesture

The video quickly went viral, with fans praising Sonu Nigam for handling a potentially distressing situation with calmness and humanity. Many described the clip as one of the most heartwarming moments seen on social media in recent days.

Sonu Nigam is currently touring the country with his Deewana Tera concert series, which began in December 2025 and continues through early 2026, reminding audiences that beyond music, empathy can also take centre stage.
