Following the phenomenal success of ‘Gadar 2’, Sunny Deol has unveiled his next project, teaming up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for what promises to be India’s most grandiose action film. Tentatively titled ‘SDGM’, the Hindi movie was officially announced today, June 20, with shooting scheduled to commence on June 22. Joining Sunny Deol in this action-packed venture are Saiyami Kher and Regina Cassandra.
Taking to Instagram, the ‘Gadar’ star shared the film’s announcement poster, declaring, “Prepare for the biggest action film in the country – #SDGM. Starring Action Superstar @iamsunnydeol. Directed by @dongopichand. Produced by @MythriOfficial & @peoplemediafactory. MASS FEAST LOADING! Shoot begins soon.”

Jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, ‘SDGM’ features music by S Thaman, with cinematography by Rishi Punjabi, editing by Naveen Nooli, and art direction by Avinash Kolla.
Following the resounding success of ‘Gadar 2’, which grossed over Rs 690 crore worldwide and garnered acclaim from critics and audiences alike, Sunny Deol is currently engaged in filming director Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Lahore 1947’, a production by Sunny and Aamir Khan’s banner, featuring Preity Zinta in a pivotal role. Additionally, his forthcoming projects include ‘Border 2’, slated for release in 2026.
Director Gopichand Malineni, known for his work on films such as ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Balupu’, ‘Krack’, and ‘Veera Simha Reddy’, is concurrently involved in shooting Ravi Teja’s upcoming film.
