Hema, a Telugu actress, finds herself deeper in trouble amidst the Bengaluru rave party case. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) detained her on Monday (June 3) following questioning. Prior to this, notices were issued by the CCB to eight individuals, including Hema, regarding their involvement in the case. The incident revolves around a rave party held on May 22 on the outskirts of Bengaluru, where 86 attendees were found to have consumed drugs. The raid, executed by the Anti-Narcotics Division of the Karnataka Police, uncovered the participation of 73 men and 30 women in the event.
Alongside Hema, another Telugu actress, Asha Roy, was reportedly present at the party. Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayanand disclosed that blood samples from the attendees were dispatched for laboratory analysis. He mentioned, “On the night of May 19, the CCB of Bengaluru Police conducted a raid at a farmhouse in Electronic City based on specific intelligence. Approximately 100 people were present at the venue, and subsequent searches led to the discovery of drugs and narcotics.” Further details regarding the case and recent arrests are anticipated.
