Megastar Thalaiva Rajinikanth, took a well-deserved break in the picturesque Maldives after wrapping up his work on the upcoming film ‘Lal Salaam,’ directed by his daughter Aishwarya.
A few days ago, the renowned ‘Shivaji: The Boss’ actor flew to the beautiful archipelago to unwind. Exclusive images of Thalaiva’s 12-day vacation at the Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives, which he now considers his second home.
In the pictures, we witness the hotel staff giving him a grand welcome with traditional dhol beats and showering him with rose petals. Rajinikanth, dressed in his signature black tee, off-white pants, and white shoes, looks as stylish as ever.
Another photo captures the moment when Thalaiva appreciates the culinary skills of the hotel chefs, who served him a delightful array of dishes, including Lucknow Biryani, Malabari Chicken Curry, and Fresh Fish Chettinad. The cooking team is visibly in awe of the actor as they share a cake-cutting moment with him, while he expresses his gratitude in the diary.

In Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s ‘Lal Salaam,’ the superstar will make a cameo appearance as Moideen Bhai, a look that has already created significant excitement among the audience.
As for his much-anticipated next film ‘Jailer,’ a Tamil action comedy written and directed by Nelson, and produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures, it is set to hit theatres with much fanfare on August 10. The movie boasts a star-studded cast, featuring Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, and Tamannaah Vinayakan, with cameos by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Kannada cinema’s leading star Shiva Rajkumar.
