The trailer launch of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! – Fun on the Run took an emotional turn when actor Aasif Sheikh recalled a frightening on-set incident that could have turned fatal during the film’s shoot.
A close call on the first day of shoot
Sharing the experience, Aasif Sheikh revealed that the incident occurred on the very first day of filming at a new location. He and co-star Ravi Kishan were seated together, casually having coffee, when a massive tree suddenly came crashing down between them.
Describing how narrowly they escaped serious harm, Aasif said the tree, measuring nearly 12 to 14 feet, fell exactly in the space separating them. He remarked that had either of them been standing at that moment, the consequences could have been disastrous.
Impact left the set stunned
Ravi Kishan, who sustained a shoulder injury in the mishap, said the tree was extremely heavy and its fall sent shockwaves across the set. The sudden crash left the cast and crew stunned, with filming coming to a halt as the team rushed to ensure everyone’s safety.
Actor returns to set within minutes
Producer Sanjay Kohli recalled that the entire unit remained shaken for nearly half an hour following the incident. Ravi Kishan was given immediate medical attention, but surprised everyone by returning to the set within 30 minutes and insisting that shooting resume, drawing praise for his professionalism and dedication.
Film set for February release
Despite the scare, the team resumed work with renewed caution. The film features an ensemble cast including Shubhangi Atre, Vidisha Srivastava, Rohitashv Gour, Mukesh Tiwari and Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’.
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! – Fun on the Run is scheduled for theatrical release on February 6, 2026.
