Unni Mukundan’s film Marco has enjoyed a remarkable run at the box office, particularly in its Hindi version. Opening with a ₹4.3 crore collection on its first day, only ₹1 lakh of that was from the Hindi market. However, the film quickly gained traction, with the Hindi version alone bringing in ₹10.17 crore over the next 19 days, taking its total Hindi earnings to ₹10.18 crore.
Known for its intense action and gore, Marco initially struggled in the Hindi market, earning just ₹28 lakh in its first week. But the second week saw a surge in popularity, with the film raking in ₹4.6 crore. By the third week, Marco’s Hindi earnings soared further, adding ₹5.3 crore in just the first five days. The film marked a milestone on New Year’s Day by crossing the ₹1 crore mark in its Hindi collections for the first time during its second week. This achievement was repeated twice during the third week, with ₹1 crore-plus collections on both the Saturday and Sunday of that week.
Marco’s strong performance reflects a growing appreciation for action-packed films in regional cinema, particularly among Hindi-speaking audiences.
