South star Vijay Deverakonda recently experienced a mishap while promoting his new song Sahiba in Mumbai. During a visit to a college for the promotion event, the actor fell down a flight of stairs as he was leaving the premises. A video of the incident quickly spread across social media.
In the video, Vijay is seen regaining his balance almost immediately after the fall. His team quickly intervened, asking onlookers to stop recording the incident. Many fans expressed concern for his well-being, with one commenting, “It can happen to anyone. It’s just a slip of the foot. Plus, there was no injury.” Another user highlighted the invasion of his privacy, urging others to respect it.
Earlier, Deverakonda had suffered an injury while filming his upcoming project with director Gowtam Tinnanuri, tentatively titled VD 12.
On the professional front, Vijay was last seen in the 2023 release Kushi, where he starred alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and also made a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas.
