Mangaluru: The oath-taking ceremony and lamp lighting ceremony of the 18th batch of B Sc Nursing students of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) Nursing College was held on Thursday, December 19 at Endurance Hall.
Principal of Zulekha Nursing College, Dr. R. Kanagavalli was the chief guest of the programme.
In his inaugural speech, he said, “The nursing faculty must be ready for all kinds of challenges in their professional life. Their conduct, knowledge, and skills will make them emerge as the best nurses.
Principal of Yenepoya Medical College Dr.M.S.Moosabba threw light on the importance of a nurse, their professional life and the importance of sacrificial mindset.
Sr. Aileen Mathias. Chief Nursing Officer, YMCH garlanded the photo frame of statistician/social reformer Florence Nightingale.
Lecturer Hezil Reema Barboza welcomed the gathering.
Dr Leena K C, principal, Yenepoya Nursing College administered the oath to the students.
