Mysuru: Department of Telecommunication Engineering, GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru is organizing 4-week internship program on “COMPUTER VISION, DATA SCIENCE and IoT using PYTHON” for V and VII semester students of CSE/ISE/ECE/TCE/EEE/EIE branches under IEEE Student Branch (STB1786) in association with IEEE Bangalore Section and IEEE Mysuru Subsection from 1st September 2021 to 30th September 2021 in online mode.

The inaugural function was held on 1st September 2021 at 9.30 AM on the google meet platform. Harinarayanan K Principal Engineer HARMAN International Bangalore Urban, Karnataka is invited as chief guest for the event. The event is presided by Vanaja B Pandit Hon. Secretary, GSSS(R), Mysuru. Dr Shivakumar M, Principal, GSSSIETW, Mysuru Dr Parameshachari. B. D, Professor & Head, Dept. of TCE and IEEE Student Branch Counsellor graced the occasion. Rajesh KM, Swetha K, Nayana C G, Assistant Professors Department of TCE and Sowjanya M N, Assistant Professor, Department of EIE are the resource persons for the 4-week internship program.

The internship has received very good responses across India. The program has received 100+ requests from various colleges which are Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur, Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore, PES college of engineering Mandya, Government Sri Krishna Rajendra silver jubilee institute of technology Bengaluru, Vidya Vikas institute of engineering and technology, Maharaja institute of technology, NIE institute of technology Mysuru, Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute Of Technology Anantapur, SDM college of engineering and technology Dharwad.

The internship students will have in-depth exposure to technologies including programming fundamentals, AI concepts and workflows, Python, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, Keras and Tensorflow, Computer Vision, and IoT using Raspberry Pi preparing you for an exciting career in AI and Machine Learning.
