Mangaluru: Besant Women’s College Student Council election for the academic year 2022-23 was held, recently.
Neha from 3rd BA was elected as the new President, Chaitra from 3rd BBA as Vice-President, Shreya from II B.Sc as Secretary and Deeksha from 1st B.Com as Deputy Secretary.
A total of 668 students of the college cast their votes. There were 7 candidates who contested for the post of Deputy Secretary, four for the post of Secretary, and two candidates for the post of President.
Besant Women’s College Principal Dr. Satish Kumar Shetty, Vice-President of National Institute of Education for Women Dr. Manjula K. T. L, and Vidyarthi Parishad Convenor Dr. Meera Edna Coelho supervised the election process.
