Mangaluru: SDMC Ujire Global Alumni Association has announced the first ever recipient of its newly constituted award ‘Professor of Excellence’ award to Dr. Satheeschandra, Principal, SDM College, Ujire. This award has been instituted to honour the meritorious and long-time contribution of SDMC professors to the field of higher education.
Dr. Satheeschandra has been the Principal of SDM College for the last 3 years and has been in service in the college since 1986. He is an excellent academician, his former students are occupying august positions throughout the globe. The award will be presented to him on December 24 in SDM College auditorium by the office bearers of SDMC Ujire Global Alumni Association.
SDMC Ujire Global Alumni Association has instituted this award to recognise the noble services of one Professor every year, the press release further said.
