Mahesh High School pays tribute to Amar Jawans on Republic day

mahesh1Mangaluru: On the occasion of 69th Republic Day, Mahesh High School paid tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives for the country on January 26.

For the 2nd consecutive year, “Cycle Explore” was organised in association with Mangalore Cycling Club.

Ramesh Thumbay, Gazetted Assistant, DDPI, Mangaluru flagged off the cycle explore. Students began the cycle rally from Mahesh High School at 9 AM and passed through Lady Hill, Mannagudda and then came back through Urwa Store to Kottara Chowki and reached Mahesh High School at 10 AM covering 5 kms, amidst cheers from public during the explore.

Deepali Shenoy thanked all the students for their participation in the cycle explore, distributed certificates and addressed the closing ceremony paying tribute to Amar Jawans.
