Mangaluru: Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Department of Pharmacy Practice, Community Development Committee, National Service Scheme Cell, Manipal Association of Pharmaceutical Students) in association with the Department of Anesthesiology, KMC, Manipal conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) Program for the factory employees of Manipal Technologies Limited on 17 March 2023.
Dr Sushma TK, Associate Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, KMC, Manipal and a certified AHA BLS and ACLS instructor, provided first aid training on management for cardiac arrest and choking to the 25 factory employees.
Pooja Gopal Poojari, a Research Scholar from the Department of Pharmacy Practice, MCOPS welcomed the group. Vidya Gomes, Manager, Human Resources, Manipal Technologies Limited presented a memento to Dr Sushma as a token of appreciation.
Dr Prasanna Kumar and Dr Sreedharan from the Department of Pharmacy Practice, MCOPS, Manipal coordinated the program.
