Mangaluru: The course inauguration of the 19th Batch of GNM, 18th Batch of B.Sc.(N), 12th batch of P.B.B.Sc.(N), 13th Batch of M.Sc.(N), 5th  Batch of B.Sc. Renal Dialysis Technology, 2nd Batch of B.Sc Imaging Technology, 2nd Batch of B.Sc Medical laboratory Technology, 2nd  Batch of B.Sc Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology & 1st batch of  B.Sc. Emergency & Trauma Care Technology Course was held on 12th January 2022 at 10 am in the Athena College Auditorium.

The programme commenced with the prayer service led by Lavita Dsouza, Assistant Lecturer and her team. Sr. Aileen Mathias Vice Principal welcomed the gathering which was followed by lamp lighting that marked the inauguration of the course.

Sr. Deepa Peter, principal, Athena college of nursing briefed about the course and she focused on quality education and the overall development of the students. Freshers of various batches were introduced to the audience by Professor Sunitha Lobo.

In the presidential address R.S Shettian, Chairman, Athena Institute of Health Sciences welcomed all new students to the institution and congratulated them for selecting the college. He assured management support in all the curricular and non-curricular activities. Leediya Monis, Assistant Lecturer proposed the vote of thanks to all for gracing the occasion by their solemn presence. The programme came to the end with the Institutional Anthem. The programme was compered by Anaklita Misquith Lecturer of Athena Institute of Health Sciences.
