Mangaluru: Like every year, the Nitte Educational Institution is organising a selection trial for the meritorious students for scholarships under the sports quota. The selection trials for volleyball, basketball, hockey and athletic scholarships will be held on April 16 and 17 at the B C Alva Sports Complex in the Nitte campus.
Students selected on merits will be provided with tuition fees, food, boarding and other facilities.
The Nitte Educational Institution has been supporting sports persons for many years. Students of the college are trained by expert coaches and have participated and won medals at the state, national and international level competitions.
Students desirous of availing the sports scholarships have been requested to contact the Sports Director of Nitte Institutions, Karkala, before 9 AM on April 16.
The pre-selection training for the aforementioned sports will be held from April 9 to April 15 at the Nitte sports grounds.
