Mangalore: Mental stability is as important as physical health. Counselling can help students to adopt positive thinking, face exam fear and time-pressure management, opined Counsellor Mamatha Achar.

Speaking at an orientation program organized for the new batch of UG students for the year 2023-24, here at Ravindra Kala Bhavana of University College Mangalore recently, she informed the students about how proper breathing practice keeps the brain active, how to get rid of anger etc.

NEP Nodal Officer Dr Siddharaju N explained to the students about the syllabus pattern, credit system, evaluation, grading, opportunities for skill enhancement and capacity building of students. Meanwhile, information various associations like NCC, NSS, Red Cross, sports, yogic science, about library, and other facilities in the college.

Principal Dr Anasuya Rai explained the rich history of more than 150 years and wished them well. Later, the students of arts, science and commerce departments were given comprehensive information about the nature of the respective programs Heads of various departments and others were present.
